(Music Video) Reflection - Week 4 -

This week, i added my character profile, recce, one to one with my teacher, on my character profile, i mentioned to the audience on who my two performers are and why i selected them, these two performers are 'Che' and 'Justine'  the reasoning of my decision is based on my audience feedback from going around the college and my lessons and showing people examples of people and see if my feedback is good. Also from my character profile i know that  they are in a relationship helps too because they both are confident with each other and there would be no issues between the two while filming, 'Che' is confident in front of camera which means it helps my filming process easier. 

I added my recce, because i knew it would help me while i record, my recce consists of having my main location which is Canary Wharf,  and it would help me during production, my one to one with my teacher was about me needing to start filming and have a rough edit to show my focus group which is my audience, the reason for this is for me to receive feedback from my audience and improve to create a perfect final project. Finally i added my script, however my script only consisted of the lyrics that was going to be used in my music video, this is because i will not have any other dialogue in my music video and it doesn't require it.

Next week i will start filming and meeting up with my performers.

Production Research/Treatment - Mise en scene

For my mise en scene, i will have props, clothing, makeup and locations, (interior and exterior), the props i would have on my music video would be very basic, these would be things like water bottles or any type of drink, this little extra prop has a massive effect to the music video as it makes it less boring and plain, i believe adding things like props to music videos make it unique and effective to the audience. For my clothing i want my two performers to specifically wear casual clothes, for example jeans and a t-shirt, however the t-shirts would be a plain t-shirt, i would want to have my performers wear a branded t-shirt but a little bit expensive, for example brands like Commes des Garcons, Moschino. Reason for this is to show the audience that this music video has been created professionally and 'money has been spent' to create it.
