Character Profile.

Before i film my music video, i need to decide on who i want to be involved. The result of my decision is based on my audience feedback from going around the college and my lessons and showing people examples of people and see if my feedback is good, two characters in my music video, it will be one male and one female, they will be my performers for my music video 'Rihanna'. However in the original music video the performers were a black male and a light skin female, with my music video i wanted to keep the same idea with the complexion of my performers. So, the fact that i wanted to keep the idea the same, i already two people in mind which i thought would be perfect for this music video, for my male performer i want to use 'Che' this would fit my requirements and i think it would work well, moreover my female performer would be 'Justine' she is 'Che's' girlfriend, so i think the fact that they are in a relationship helps too because they both are confident with each other and there would be no issues between the two while filming, 'Che' is confident in front of camera which means it helps my filming process easier however 'Justine' is camera shy however i think that once my performer is comfortable within the first couple shots of filming it would be fine and she would overcome being camera shy.

Production Research/Treatment - Mise en scene

For my mise en scene, i will have props, clothing, makeup and locations, (interior and exterior), the props i would have on my music video would be very basic, these would be things like water bottles or any type of drink, this little extra prop has a massive effect to the music video as it makes it less boring and plain, i believe adding things like props to music videos make it unique and effective to the audience. For my clothing i want my two performers to specifically wear casual clothes, for example jeans and a t-shirt, however the t-shirts would be a plain t-shirt, i would want to have my performers wear a branded t-shirt but a little bit expensive, for example brands like Commes des Garcons, Moschino. Reason for this is to show the audience that this music video has been created professionally and 'money has been spent' to create it.
